# Add and Manage Users
> Learn how to manage user profiles and roles in your Emotive account.
In this article, we'll walk you through how to manage user profiles in your Emotive Account, along with some guidance on which permissions each roles have access to.
## Create a New User
To add a new user:
* Head to your [User Management](https://www.emotiveapp.co/settings/user-management) page in your Settings.
* Select **Add New User**.
* Enter your new user's email address.
* Select whether you'd like this new user to have a Manager or Admin role.
* Select **Add user**.
## Update a User's Role
To change a user's role:
* Head to your [User Management](https://www.emotiveapp.co/settings/user-management) page in your Settings.
* Select the user's email to edit their profile.
* Change the role from the dropdown menu.
* **Save** your changes.
## Remove a User
To remove a user from your account:
* Head to your [User Management](https://www.emotiveapp.co/settings/user-management) page in your Settings.
* Click the "X" to the right of the user you'd like to remove.
* Click **Remove** to confirm your decision on the following prompt.
## Roles & Permissions
Emotive allows two roles in your account: Admin and Manager. See below to understand the permissions granted to each of these roles.

| SMS | ✅ Access to all pages
