## Create a new API Key in Wordpress

To get started:

## Configure your new API Key

Once you've started your new key:

* Name your new key something easily identifiable, such as "Emotive API".
* Set the *User* field to your admin user.
* Select the *Permissions* to be **Read/Write**.
* Click on \*\*Generate API key \*\*at the bottom of the page.
* Make sure to take note of the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret when provided.

Once you've completed these steps, you can send the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret to Emotive Support, or your Customer Success Manager.
