# Update your Google Tag Manager WooCommerce Plugin Permissions

> Optimize your WooCommerce permissions for abandoned cart recovery with Emotive.

Before you get started, make sure that you've already installed the [**GTM for Wordpress Plugin**](https://gtm4wp.com/how-to-articles/installing-the-plugin).

Then, log into Wordpress and follow these instructions:

* Navigate to **Plugins > Installed Plugins**.
* Scroll down to *Google Tag Manager for Wordpress*.
* Click on the **Settings** link.
* Head to the **Integrations** tab, then click on the **WooCommerce** link at the top of the page.
* Each of the below boxes should be checked to ensure we can see order and customer data in the data layer of Google Tag Manager.
* **Save** your changes.
