# Sync Signups to Mailchimp

> Connect your Emotive popups to Mailchimp and start syncing new email signups.

If you're a Mailchimp user leveraging Emotive popups to collect email + SMS, follow these instructions to connect your popups to Mailchimp so new email addresses sync over in real time.

## Create your API Key in Mailchimp

* Log into Mailchimp. Click your profile icon and select **Profile**.
* Click the *Extras* drop-down then select **API Keys**.
* In the Your *API Keys* section, click **Create A Key**.
* Select **Generate Key**.
* Copy your new API Key and click **Done**.

## Connect your Mailchimp Account with your Popup

1. Log into Emotive and navigate to [**Popups.**](https://www.emotiveapp.co/list-growth)
2. Click into the desired popup to edit it.
3. In the *Configure* tab, select **Mailchimp** to connect.
4. Paste your API Key from Mailchimp and click **Connect**.

That's it! Your email signups will now sync to your Mailchimp account moving forward.
