Abandoned Checkout Message

Following these tips will lead to higher open rates, higher engagement rates, and more importantly stronger conversions:
  • Always include your brand name, so the customer knows who is messaging them
  • Text is a very personal channel - craft your message as if it is a human reaching out
  • Use the variable buttons (customer name, link to checkout page, product name) to personalize the message for each customer
  • If you are going to leave a discount for your lost shoppers, make sure to include the code not only in the message box, but also in the discount code box for tracking purposes
Once your message is set up and saved, all abandoned checkout messages will automatically trigger between 9am - 12pm PST, as this is the best period of time to re-engage.
