Email - When you first launch your SMS program you should be sure to inform your email subscribers and let them know that you will be sending out SMS exclusive deals. You can send out an email blast with the announcement and encourage signup (i.e. - “Text YES to 5056167893 to sign up for text alerts! New subscribers get 20% off”). You can also choose to have this live in your bottom nav of your email template.
