Sometimes a message will be marked as delivered, but isn’t seen on someone’s phone. The most likely explanation is it is in a semi-secret Unknown or Spam folder on the user’s phone.  Many phones have ‘spam’ or other folders where inbound messages can get routed into. Each device handles this slightly differently, so we would always recommend looking up the specific instructions for your phone. For iPhone users: 
  • Go to iPhone Settings
  • Go to Messages
  • Scroll down and find the section ‘Message Filtering ’
  • From there you should two folders, ‘Junk’ and ‘Unknown & Spam’
For Android users: 
  • Open your android messaging app
  • Go to the menu option typically located in the top right (three vertical dots)
  • Press the ‘Spam & Blocked’ button
