This article is intended to provide a high-level understanding of what is required from you to make this a successful installation process. Please see the instructions below to determine which integration type best fits your capabilities/resources.In order to connect Emotive with your Custom website, there are two ways we are able to integrate:
This option is best for small brands and/or brands with limited development resources. It requires that your ecommerce platform is natively supported by Zapier.Zapier Ecommerce IntegrationsThis option also requires that your platform’s order event sends over the data required by the Emotive order API. The Zapier <> Emotive connector we use for this integration will tell you which fields are required.
Integrations without native support will require developers and should consider a direct integration with our Open API.Our Open API option will require your development team to create custom code/webhooks to send order data to Emotive. Emotive is not able to make this connection for you.If you do not have developers to assist in this, you should consider using Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce, where developers are seldom required to integrate with Emotive. You can provide the following technical documentation to your developers and have them contact Emotive Support at [email protected] if there are any questions.
