Create a new Broadcast
- Navigate to Broadcasts.
- Select Create Broadcast.
- Under Broadcast Type, select A/B Test.
Create your Variants
To get started with your A/B Test:- Click on Variant A to expand its details.
- Name your variant.
- Add an image (if you’d like).
- Enter a discount code (if needed).
- Type your message.
Edit your Test Settings
Once you’ve finalized your variants, you will need to configure your A/B Test settings.- Under Test Settings, choose your A/B Test Size.
- Selecting a test size of 100% will split ALL the recipients in half, and send each half one of your variants.
- Selecting a test size < 100% will send your variants to a portion of the message’s segment. Once a winning variant is determined, the remaining recipients will be sent the winner.
- Next, choose how the winning variant is determined. Choose from:
- Highest click through rate
- Highest conversion rate
- Highest response rate
- Highest revenue
- Lowest opt out rate
- Choose the timeframe for the winning variant to be chosen.
Preview and Test
Click into each variant to see a preview of each message on the right side of your screen. If you’d like to test your message(s), click Send me a test below the preview.Review and Send
Once you’re happy with your message variants and settings, you can schedule your A/B Test to send. Scheduling an A/B Test works the same as scheduling a standard Broadcast:- Click Review and send when you’re ready to proceed.
- You will have the option to Schedule your message for a future time, or Send the message immediately.
You will see the send time for the winning variant at the bottom. This is based on the timeframe and settings selected while building your A/B Test.
- Use the Review and Send modal to give your copy and content one last review before sending or scheduling your message.
- You can use the Back option to return to editing your content, if needed.
