A conditional split lets you divide your flow into branches based on subscriber actions or segments. For example, send a message to subscribers who abandoned their cart, follow up with those who made a purchase, or end the flow if needed. This feature helps tailor your messaging to fit different subscriber behaviors, offering endless possibilities for customization!

Add a New Conditional Split

To add a new conditional split:
  • Click the + button below the node or branch where you’d like to create the split.
  • Choose Conditional Split by Segment from the following menu.

Choose your Condition

Once you’ve added your split, you’ll see a branch with a Yes path, and a No path. Now, it’s time to select which Segment you want as your condition.
  • Click the pencil icon next to your conditional flow block.
  • Choose a segment from the dropdown menu.
  • Press Save & Close.
You’ll now see your segment reflected in your split, along with your Yes and No paths. Your Yes path will include any contacts who fall within the specified segment, and your No path will include any contacts who do not fall within the specified segment.

Add messages to your Conditional Split

Once you’ve selected the segment for your conditional split, it’s time to add messages to both your Yes and No paths.
  • Click the + icon below each path.
  • Choose Message from the menu.
  • Customize your message.
  • Click the check mark to save your new message.
Once you’ve completed this for both your Yes and No path, you’ll have a complete Conditional Split in your Flow and you can Publish it whenever you’re ready.
