If you’re a Mailchimp user leveraging Emotive popups to collect email + SMS, follow these instructions to connect your popups to Mailchimp so new email addresses sync over in real time.

Create your API Key in Mailchimp

  • Log into Mailchimp. Click your profile icon and select Profile.
  • Click the Extras drop-down then select API Keys.
  • In the Your API Keys section, click Create A Key.
  • Select Generate Key.
  • Copy your new API Key and click Done.

Connect your Mailchimp Account with your Popup

  1. Log into Emotive and navigate to Popups.
  2. Click into the desired popup to edit it.
  3. In the Configure tab, select Mailchimp to connect.
  4. Paste your API Key from Mailchimp and click Connect.
That’s it! Your email signups will now sync to your Mailchimp account moving forward.
